Nottingham’s Teams
Nottingham is one of the Midlands biggest clubs and caters for a wide range of ages and abilities. Currently we have 3 adults teams competing in their relevant leagues and juniors from ages 10 to 19.
First Team
Our first team competes in the National League Premier division, the top league in country. This league runs from October to April each year with the top three teams winning places in European competitions. During the Autumn and Spring the first team players compete in several summer tournaments across the country usually entering as a scratch team.
Second Team
The second team is generally used as a feeder team for the first team. Generally being made up of the rising talent in the club, guided by a few experienced hands, the team competes in the Central England League which is played in Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds and Nottingham. During the autumn and Spring the second team players generally mix into the first team to compete in the summer tournaments
Third and Fourth Teams
The third and fourth teams compete in the East Midlands Korfball League throughout the year. These teams consist of both recreational and serious players and everybody can find their ideal level of competition within these sides.
Juniors
Nottingham fields sides in the following age groups: U16 and U19. Rather than competing in weekly leagues, junior teams meet every few weekends and play in round robin competitions, which provides for a great competitive and social environment for our younger players. Juniors reaching the age of 16 are generally blended into the senior setup to gain experience.
