The all Nottingham CEKL Cup final took place at Bilborough College on 21st June 2006. In which Eagles won a tightly fought contest 17 - 11. East Midland Eagles (captained by Alistair Knight) triumphed over Nottingham Leeuwaarden (captained by Robert Mann).
Tonight, 22nd June 2006, two Nottingham sides square up in what will be a hotly contested CEKL Cup final.
This will be the last ever CEKL Cup Final after the disbanding of the area association.
